Minus The Bear Reveals New Album, New U.S. Tour Dates
Indie-rock outfit Minus the Bear has just announced plans for the “Lost Loves & Beer Commercials Tour”, taking place this fall. The tour celebrates the 10th anniversary (yep, it’s been that long) of their EP They Make Beer Commercials Like This, which will be played in full throughout the tour. It also marks the October 7 release of their latest album, Lost Loves, a collection of songs that, over the course of their long careers, didn’t quite make the albums. The tour kicks off on October 14 at Club Café in Pittsburgh, PA, and then continues through Cambridge, MA; New York, NY (at the Gramercy Theatre); Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC; Detroit, MI; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA; Denver, CO; Seattle, WA (the band’s hometown); San Francisco, CA; and Pomona, CA before wrapping up on November 23 in San Luis Obispo at SLO Brewing Co. O’Brother, Young Widows, and Mansions will provide support throughout, depending on your date. Pre-sale tickets are available now, and the general tickets will hit the market on Friday, August 1.
Minus the Bear, made up of Jake Snider, Dave Knudson, Cory Murchy, Alex Rose, and Erin Tate, have released five studio albums and four EPs over the course of their long and varied career.
