Country music songstress Miranda Lambert--who is currently nominated for nine CMA Awards–has just announced the cities she’ll be hitting on her tour for early next year to promote her hit record Platinum. Unfortunately, the announcement doesn’t include the dates or venues for the shows. So here’s what we know: Lambert will kick things off with a show in Evansville, IN. From there, she’ll bounce around the Midwest and the South for a few shows, before eventually making her way to the Pacific Northwest with performances in Spokane, WA, Tacoma, WA, and Eugene, OR. She’ll then head back into the Midwest with shows in Illinois and Ohio. After that, it’s on to a leg into the South playing in Little Rock, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Wichita and Dallas. She’ll then play another round of a two shows in the Midwest followed by two shows in the South before trekking into the Northeast, playing in Pennsylvania, Atlantic City and New York. Lambert will finish out the tour in New England with shows in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut. We’ll update you with more details when we know more.
First gaining fame as a contestant on the music competition reality show Nashville Star, for which she came in third, Miranda Lambert has since become a country music star — releasing five albums, all of which have reached the number one spot on the US country music chart and four have been certified platinum. Platinum was released in June and was Lambert’s first release to reach the number one slot in the US music chart.
