Moonspell Announce European Tour Slated for Spring
Moonspell Tour 2013
Moonspell, a Portuguese heavy metal band, have announced European tour dates slated for April and May. This comes on the heels of a recent jaunt with Marduk, a fellow metal band from Sweden. The fun kicks off on April 19, with a performance at L’etage in Rennes, France. The band will play several shows in the country throughout the tour, as well as make stops in Spain and Germany. Folks living in London, however, should be sure to hit up Underworld on April 23, as that’s the only stop the goth rockers will be making in the UK whilst on tour. An April 5 show in Madrid, Spain, at Sala Arena, marks the conclusion of the spring tour. No supporting bands have been announced yet.

Since their formation in 1992, Moonspell have become one of the most recognizable metal bands out of Europe, sitting with Metallica and Iron Maiden as the only metal groups to ever hit No. 1 on the Portuguese album charts. Check out their latest record, Alpha Noir/Omega White, which was released to favorable reviews early last year and marks the band’s 10th studio release.
