And so the tradition continues: Motorhead will once again embark on their annual tour of the UK this November. The fall round of shows has been a staple of the band’s touring circuit for years now, much to the delight of the British metal-head contingent. Although Motorhead haven’t released a record since 2010’s The World is Yours, no new album to promote means no big deal for the rockers who’ve been making music and banging their heads to it for going on 40 years. No matter which songs from which albums they choose to highlight, they’ll undoubtedly stay true to themselves: “We are Motorhead – and we play rock n’ roll.”
Motorhead’s first show is slated for the middle of the month, on November 13 in Nottingham. City Hall in Newcastle, Brixton’s O2 Academy,Civic Hall in Wolverhampton, Manchester’s 02 Apollo, and the 02 Academy in Glasgow are the lucky venues that made this year’s cut. Tickets to these and several other Motorhead shows – including a few other international performances scheduled for this summer and next winter – are on sale now, but be sure to check back here to see if and when the band tacks on even more (North American?) tour dates!
