The annual Mustang Music Festival has confirmed that it’ll be jamming out the Outer Banks for a fourth time this fall and revealed just who’ll be taking the stage. Southern jam rockers JJ Grey & Mofro and British jazz-funk fusioners The New Mastersounds will be headlining with additional performances by The Revivalists, Roadkill Ghost Choir, The London Souls, Tim Reynolds & TR3, New Madrid, Jamie Kent, Seth Stainback & Roosterfoot, People’s Blues of Richmond, Zack Mexico, The Tills, Formula, Dewey Via and Category 5. It all goes down October 10 and 11 at the Whalehead in Historic Corolla, NC.

Founded in 2010, the Mustang Music Festival features, along with the music, an artisan market, child-friendly activities in the “KidZone,” and (for the first ever) a stand-up paddle race. The event benefits the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, a nonprofit that works to protect the herd of wild Colonial Spanish Mustangs that freely roam the region.
