To commemorate their 20th year together, metal band Nile have announced a 28-date tour of the United States. The extensive show schedule will take place over the entire month of March and the first week of April. Each show will include two sets, both chock-full of songs spanning the band’s enduring career. Nile’s most recent LP, At the Gate of Sethu, was released earlier this year, and is their seventh studio album.

The tour kicks of on March 5 in Richmond, VA, and will see the rockers in every corner of the country, including shows in Massachusetts, California, Texas, and Illinois. On March 10, Nile will play a show at BB King’s Blues Club in New York City. April 4 marks the last date of the tour, when the band will perform in North Carolina at Tremont Music Hall. In an effort to support local music, the band has requested that at each venue promoter invite three local bands to perform. Band leader, Karl Sanders, recently said, “We have asked promoters to keep ticket prices low…an evening of killer metal shouldn’t have to break the bank.”
