Nine Inch Nails Album & Tour

Nine Inch Nails front man, Trent Reznor, announced Tuesday that the band’s latest album, Hesitation Waits, will be released September 3, 2013. This will be NIN’s first new music in five years, since 2008’s The Slip. The first single, “Came Back Haunted,” is now available on for free download on iTtunes with a pre-order of the album. After a three year hiatus from 2009-2012, Reznor has spent the past year recording with producers Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder. Not much is else is known about Hesitation Waits, as Reznor has kept recording process for this album has been kept very hush-hush.

Reznor also announced the dates for their fall arena tour, titled Nine Inch Nails: Tension 2013. NIN will be joined by Explosions in the Sky or Godspeed You! Black Emperor, depending on the show. According to Reznor, Tension 2013 picks up right where their 2008 tour, Lights in the Sky, left off. This is a show no NIN fan should miss – as Reznor said, “This is the full-on NIN live experience realized as we never could before.” The two-month, 33-show tour kicks off September 28 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN and wraps November 25 at ScotiaBank Saddledome in Calgary, Canada. Along the way, Reznor and his band will hit Toronto, Boston, Brookyn, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and almost everywhere in between. Tickets go on sale June 14.
