For a band that sings about revolution, O.A.R. has been consistently wowing fans and providing extensive tours and live shows that do not disappoint. The band may have changed since their inception in 1996, when four of the five members from Rockville, MD, met the fifth member in college, but their sound and performances continue to reaffirm everything that fans love about them. The revolution has yet to happen, but that’s okay. In fact, it’s a good thing, because O.A.R. has announced their eighth studio album that will feature a new song entitled “Peace.” The album has yet to be officially released, but don’t worry because you can get your O.A.R. fix with a newly-announced Extended Stay Club Tour.
It seems like those on the West Coast will reap the most benefits from the tour. Check O.A.R. out at the Brooklyn Bowl Vegas on April 24, 25, or 26 in Las Vegas, NV, where they’ll commence their tour. Catch them at one of their three shows in Los Angeles, CA, on on May 2, 3, and 4 at the Troubadour. For those of you in San Francisco, CA, head on over to the Independent on May 9, 10, or 11. The last leg of the tour will be in Seattle, WA, on May 15 at Neptune. Here’s to hoping that O.A.R. not only extends the length of their tour, but also spreads further East.
