Old Shoe Tour

Chicago folk rockers Old Shoe have announced the dates for their upcoming spring tour. While the band is currently at work on their third studio album, they can also be found performing across the Midwest starting on April 5 at Six Strings Club in Bloomington, IL. They’ll be joined on April 13 by Roster McCabe for a stop in Iowa City at Gabe’s, and will play with Max Creek at Quixote’s True Blue in Denver on April 20. The band is also slated to appear at two regional festivals at the tail-end of the tour—Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, IL (May 24 – May 26) and Wakarusa Music Festival in Ozark, AR (May 30  – June 2).

Old Shoe is a self-described “five-piece Americana Roots rock band” that credits its national diversity—with members hailing from as far as Alaska—in bringing to life a diverse portrait of American life with their music. Along with original work, the band regularly covers personal favorites such as Little Feat, Stevie Wonder and Warren Haynes. Aside from their many appearances within the midwestern folk festival scene, the band hosts their own Shoe Fest, featuring bands such as Keller & the Keels, Great American Taxi and Elephant Revival.
