Interpol frontman, Paul Banks, has announced an international tour in support of his latest, self-titled, solo album. The tour is an extensive one, with the first chunk of November and December dates taking place in the United States, and all of his overseas shows happening in early 2013. The tour kicks off on November 3 at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, TX. Banks will play a few shows on the East Coast before swooping into Nevada, then California, where he will play four shows, including his final U.S. date on December 5 in Los Angeles. The tour picks up again on January 20, with a slew of shows throughout Europe. The final show of his ambitious tour will take place on February 15 in Athens, GR.

Paul Banks has been pulling double-duty as both a solo artist and vocalist/main songwriter for Interpol for the last few years now. In 2009, Banks released his first solo album, Julian Plenti Is… Skyscraper. Since Interpol’s hiatus which began last year, Banks has gone on to release yet another solo album, with his third due out October 22 of this year.
