Paul McCartney Tour Dates 2013

Paul McCartney is returning to the touring circuit this year but on a huge global level. The rock legend and former member of The Beattles announced the initial plans for his Out There! tour this year. In addition to the tour news, he also revealed that he is currently in the studio recording a new album that has a TBD release date.

The only dates announced thus far are a June 22 show in Warsaw, Poland, at the National Stadium and a June 27 show in Vienna, Austria, at the Happel Stadium. More dates will be announced shortly and we will sure bring you the scoop right here at SeatGeek. As stated on his website, “The tour will see Paul and his band travel the world throughout the year, even visiting some places they’ve never been before.”

Tickets for the Warsaw and Vienna shows go on sale to the general public this Friday.

Now McCartney has been in the news over the recent months. Back in December, McCartney fronted a Nirvana reunion at the Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert at Madison Square Garden with a new track entitled “Cut Me Some Slack” (video below). He also revealed that he will be a headliner at this year’s Bonnaroo, set to take place June 13 through June 16 in Manchester, Tennessee.

Also, NME reports that while visiting New Orleans, he was ignored when he began performing Beatles songs on a street car as passengers thought he was a street performer and not a living rock legend. Funny stuff.
