PNC Arena Has Big Concerts in Central NC
PNC Arena Concerts
PNC Arena, home of the Carolina Hurricanes and formerly known as RBC Center until 2012, opened in 1999 and is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The venue is also home to the North Carolina State University Wolfpack men’s basketball.
Over the years, in addition to numerous other sporting and entertainment events, the venue has staged concerts from various big name artists from music of all genres. Bands and artists that have played the venue include Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, George Strait, Bon Jovi and Keith Urban among many other artists.
This spring and summer, music fans in central North Carolina can look forward to the following concerts at PNC Arena: Eric Clapton on April 3; Barry Manilow on April 26; Bob Seger on April 27; Rush on May 3; One Direction on June 22; Taylor Swift on September 13 and later on in the year, Bon Jovi on October 19.
