Don’t Get ‘Caught By Surprise': The Postelles Announce Summer Tour
The Postelles Tour
Fans of the indie rock band The Postelles can celebrate two things: first, the release of the band’s newest album …And It Shook Me and also their upcoming tour with Atlas Genius. The band’s second album, released on April 23, will be the focus of their two-month jaunt across North America. The New York-based schoolmates turned bandmates, Daniel Balk, David Dargahi, John Speyer and Billy Cadden, wooed fans with their first album The Postelles in 2011, while also playing at Bonnaroo Music Festival and Lollapalooza. This second album promises to be fun, inspiring and overall pretty optimistic, in tone.
While more US stops will be announced soon, the tour will kick off in California at Santa Barbara’s Soho Restaurant & Music Club. The Postelles will play a few gigs along the West Coast including stops in Sacramento at Harlow’s Night Club, Portland at the Wonder Ballroom, Salt Lake City and Denver. A few June stops will include Colorado Springs, Minneapolis, Indianapolis and Columbus, OH, at Newport Music Hall. The band’s hometown fans can catch the guys on June 11 in New York City at Webster Hall.
