Radiohead, the Grammy Award winning band who has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, announced today the first series of dates for a stateside tour in 2012 in support of their latest album, The King of Limbs, which was released earlier this year. We hadn’t heard much from them since they put on an intimate show at Roseland Ballroom  The February & March dates mark the band’s first tour in the United States since 2008, when the band trekked across the states in support of the album In Rainbows.  Earlier this year the band made two surprise performances at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City as well as performances on The Colbert Report and the season premiere of Saturday Night Live.

The tour will begin at the American Airlines Arena in Miami on February 27 and will hit cities such as Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Austin, St. Louis, Kansas City, Broomfield (Colorado) and Glendale (Arizona).  The Radiohead website mentions more dates are on the horizon.  Be sure to keep checking out SeatGeek as new dates and cities are announced.
