We already know that Radiohead has a new album ready to drop like a hot bag of potatoes any day now, but fans are still a little unclear as to their touring plans. until now. The band has confirmed not one… not two… but three major festival headlining slots, plus an undisclosed source has said the band plans to embark on a North American tour in July. The confirmed festivals are OpenAir St. Gallen (a Swiss fest), NOS Alive Festival (in Lisbon), and the mecca, Primavera Sound (in Barcelona). Radiohead has been hard at work in the studio, churning out material for their new album. And, according to an interview guitarist Jonny Greenwood recently gave to Russian radio station Silver Radio (via Reddit), they’re nearly complete:

“We have finished recording of the new album but we keep reevaluating the work we’ve done. We hope we’ll get it right soon, and after that we’ll start planning the next year’s tour.”

In case you missed it–yes, Radiohead will be going on tour to support their new material. This will be the first time the band has gone on a full-fledged tour since their “King of Limbs” run, which kicked off with a tragic start when the roof of their temporary stage collapsed, killing their drum technician and injuring several others. Stay tuned to TBA are more information regarding the new Radiohead album and 2016 tour dates are revealed.
