German industrial metal titans Rammstein have left their stateside fans hanging for years. The last time the band behind “Du Hast” brought their pyrotechnic-filled show to the United States was all the way back in 2017. That long, dark night of the angle-grinder lover’s soul is coming to an end in 2020, however. The group just revealed a 10-date stadium tour, coming to our shores starting in August.
The North American portion of Rammstein’s tour will begin at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau on August 20, and the band will play Philadelphia, DC, and Minneapolis before the month is out. They start September at Soldier Field in Chicago before making the leap to Gillette Stadium three days later. Texas gets a single date at the Alamodome and California is afforded the same with a show at the Coliseum in Los Angeles. The tour closes on September 27 at Mexico City’s Foro Sol.
“This year will see the North American debut of the most extreme spectacle in live music, when Rammstein brings its full-scale stadium production to this continent for the first time ever,” a press release said of the tour. “Rock ‘n’ roll’s most ambitious pyro-theatrical experience will be on display for a series of 10 open-air dates.”
Tickets for the North American shows are on sale starting January 24. Take a look at the dates and other info below.
