Randy Bachman, lead guitarist and founding member of The Guess Who, has announced Canadian dates for his Vinyl Tap Tour. The Winnipeg native will play shows that span the country from coast to coast, beginning in Janaury and running through mid-April. The first three dates of the tour will take place on a Royal Caribbean Cruise, on January 10, 12th and 14th. After that it’s off to the Great North, with a February 28 gig in Ottawa, ON, the first of many in Ontario. Bachman will also perform several shows in Alberta and British Columbia, plus stops in Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Halifax. The tour wraps up on April 21, in Kamloops, BC.

Having been in the music scene since 1970, Bachman is an extremely accomplished musician who has performed in several notable rock n’ roll bands. Most famous for his pivotal role in The Guess Who, he’s also found success with his work in Bachman-Turner Overdrive, plus stints in the bands Brave Belt and Ironhorse. He currently hosts a weekly music radio show, Vinyl Tap, which you can listen to on CBC Radio One.
