On Monday, the average price for a ticket to tonight’s CMA Awards was $556, making it the most expensive CMA Awards since the event moved to Bridgestone Arena in 2006. Ticket prices are up 28 percent from last year’s awards ceremony, which drew an average price of $433 per ticket on the secondary market. This marks the third consecutive year that ticket prices have risen for the CMA Awards.

Right now on SeatGeek, the cheapest single ticket available is listed at $244 in Section 305 of the arena’s upper deck. Tickets in the 200 level start at $419, and 100-level seats begin at $725 each. On the very high end, we’ve seen folks pay more than $2,000 per ticket for front-row seats in the lower level.

Relative to other major upcoming events in the entertainment world, tickets for the CMA Awards are among the most expensive. The cheapest ticket to Wednesday’s event is equal in price to the cheapest seat available for next year’s Final Four in Indianapolis, and it’s pricier than the least expensive seat for this weekend’s Alabama-LSU college football game ($204), the upcoming American Music Awards ($170) and next year’s Kentucky Derby ($98).
