Legendary rocker and Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has just released a track from his upcoming album Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar (which you can listen to below), and has also revealed that he and his Sensational Space Shifters will be touring stateside this fall. Plant and the guys are currently on a world tour, including stops at Glastonbury Festival and gigs in Japan.  While a full American tour hasn’t been announced yet, these is some exciting news for you New Yorkers: on September 27 and 28 the band will performer at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (aka BAM). So, you’ll have to choose between this or flying to Atlanta to see Outkast.

Continuously voted in the top ranks of various “best singers in rock” lists, Robert Plant is most famous for being the lead vocalist and lyrists for the classic rock group Led Zeppelin. Since the band’s breakup following the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980 (although they have reunited for various tours and performances since), Plant went on to a prolific and successfully solo career. Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar is scheduled for a September 9 release will be his tenth solo album.
