Rod Stewart has added to his Live the Life Tour with a series of North American dates slated for next spring. The April and early May shows will take take place almost exclusively in the US, with two Canadian performances scheduled for April 4 at the Bell Centre and May 1 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Rod Stewart Tour 2013

Hot on the heels of his two-year residency at Las Vegas’ The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, Rod Stewart will tour his homeland next summer. The legendary singer/songwriter has made plans to embark on his Live the Life Tour beginning June 1, after which he’ll travel throughout England – making stops in Nottingham, Manchester and London, among other major cities – until wrapping things up in Dublin, at the RDS Arena, at the end of the month.

Earlier today (11/12), Stewart’s Christmas album dropped in the United Kingdom. Merry Christmas, Baby is the first seasonal effort from the self-proclaimed “dyed-in-the-wool rocker,” whose harder bread-and-butter fare has helped him ascend the ranks of international superstardom, having sold over 100 million albums to date. While it’s unlikely the traditional standards featured on Baby will make the cut next summer, feel free to take a peek at which other songs Stewart might sing, and be sure to check back here when tickets to his 2013 UK jaunt become available on the secondary market!
