Rodrigo y Gabriela Extend Tour Through the Fall
Acoustic guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela have added a new leg of fall tour dates to their roster. The duo are currently on tour through August, and after a September break they’ll hit the road again. Kicking off on October 8 in Miami at the Filmore Miami Beach and then head on to shows in Clearwater and a few other Southern states. They’ll play a show at the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre in Indianapolis on October 21 and make their way through the Midwest to the New England, playing Burlington, VT, on October 27 and then a couple shows in Massachusetts. The two will fly out to Europe in November playing Hamburg, Germany on the 21 and then hit France, the UK, the Netherlands and Switzerland. They’ll finish up the year with a show in Geneva on December 15.
Originally hailing from Mexico City, Rodrigo y Gabriela actually made a name for themselves through the music scene in Dublin, Ireland. Since their first major studio album, re-Foc, in 2002, the pair have sold over a million records and seen their music, which combines influences from everything from flamenco guitar to heavy metal, used in a variety of TV shows and movies. Their most recent album, 9 Dead Alive, was released in April.
