Concert promoter Live Nation announced this week that Roger Waters’ The Wall tour and visual rock spectacle will be returning to the United States and Canada in 2012 with 36 new shows. We were excited here at SeatGeek, as we haven’t had a chance to cover Roger Waters since we looked at the most popular live artists.

The Pink Floyd co-founder and songwriter is bringing his 2010 reinvention of the band’s 1980 stage production of The Wall to 36 cities across North America starting with a May 1, 2012 tilt in Houston. The tour will stop at major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
