El-P and Killer Mike, aka hip-hop group Run the Jewels, have just let us in on the secret of their upcoming sophomore album, RTJ2, due out October 28 via Mass Appeal Records. The album boasts 11 tracks with collaborators like Travis Barker and Diane Coffee, and we are sure excited to hear it. To promote and commemorate the occasion, Run the Jewels is all set to tour North America, starting on October 15 in College Station, TX at Hurricane Harry’s. From Texas, the group will move to Tulsa, OK; Little Rock, AR; Memphis, TN; Columbia, SC; Washington, DC; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX (at Fun Fun Fun Fest); Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Minneapolis, MN; Madison, WI; Detroit, MI; Toronto, ON; and Boston, MA, to name a few, before finishing up in New York City on November 29 at Stage 48. After they finish their U.S. run, Run the Jewels will head to Australia to continue their tour. Support comes in the form of Rat King, Despot, and Joey Bada$$, depending on the show. The general on-sale for tickets starts Friday, September 5.

Formed by El-P and Killer Mike in 2013, Run the Jewels released its self-titled debut as a free digital download that same year. The two had worked so well together previously on El-P’s “Tougher Colder Killer” and Killer Mike’s R.A.P. Music, so it really just made sense that they would get together officially.
