Scotiabank Saddledome Concerts

Scotiabank Saddledome, home of the Calgary Flames and located in downtown Calgary, opened in 1983 and has been the site for numerous concerts, conferences and other sporting events.

Of the many concerts that have taken place at Scotiabank Saddledome, here are a few highlights: The Moody Blues were the first musical act to appear with Stevie Ray Vaughan opening, in November 1983, while Rod Stewart has made the most appearances, with eleven (source: Wikipedia). Also on the list are The Beach Boys; Rihanna; Eric Church; Bon Jovi; Soundgarden; Muse; Bob Seger and The Black Keys.

This spring and summer, the following concerts will be coming to Calgary at the Scotiabank Saddledome: Motley Crue on April 29; Fleetwood Mac on May 17; Mumford & Sons on May 21; Tim McGraw on July 11; Dixie Chicks on July 12; KISS on July 13; Bruno Mars on July 17 and Rush on July 24.
