This year, lady-driven punk-rock outfit Screaming Females released the 14-track live album Live at the Hideout so that their fans could experience their raucous live shows whenever they wanted. Well, now fans in the U.S. can experience their live shows…for real. They’re going out on tour for a month-long jaunt, starting October 2 in Baltimore, MD at Ottobar. From there, Screaming Females will visit Brooklyn, NY (at the Knitting Factory); Pittsburgh, PA; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Spearfish, SD; Boise, ID; Olympia, WA; Oakland, CA; Los Angeles, CA; San Pedro, CA; Tucson, AZ; Austin, TX; Tampa, FL; Raleigh, NC (at Kings Barcade); Richmond, VA; Philadelphia, PA; Cambridge, MA; and Asbury Park, NJ, to name a few. PUJOL will be opening for the band on select dates, depending on where you are. Tickets for the tour are available now.

Featuring Marissa Paternoster on guitar and vocals, Jarrett Dougherty on drums, and King Mike on Bass, Screaming Females was formed in New Brunswick, NJ, when the members were still in high school. Originally called Surgery on TV, the band has been featured on NPR, MTV, and Last Call With Carson Daly. Screaming Females has shared the stage with Arctic Monkeys, The Dead Weather, Little Lungs, The Measure, and more.
