Sepultura are one the few acts to make it out of the nu-metal era with their cred intact. The Brazilian band had been around for over a decade before the release of Roots and have only grown larger in stature since then. The band will tour next year, carrying the weight of 15 heavy-as-hell albums with them on a month-long tour.

The shows with Sacred Reich and Crowbar start in San Diego at the House of Blues. A northward run of California dates comes immediately after, with shows at Ace of Spades in Sacramento and Berkeley’s UC Theatre. The Midwest gets their turn via shows at Milwaukee’s Rave II and Detroit’s Harpo. They christen the East Coast with a show at Boston’s storied Paradise Rock Club before heading south toward a show in Tampa. After dates in New Orleans and Austin, the tour closes back in California with a show at the Ventura Theatre.

“We’re extremely excited about kicking off the first part of our tour in support of our new album Quadra in North America. This is going to be a show that you do not want to miss! We look forward to seeing everyone there!” said the band’s Derrick Green.
