Serj Tankian Tour 2013

System of A Down frontman Serj Tankian will strike out on his own and perform a host of solo shows this coming fall. The multitalented and prolific singer/songwriter/poet/producer will travel in support of not one but two new albums, which he plans to drop one after the other this June and July. The first, Orca, is set for release June 25, while his second, Jazz-iz Christ, has a release date of July 23.

Unfortunately for Serj’s American fans, the performer hasn’t made any plans – as of now – to tour Stateside. Instead, Tankian will take to Ukraine, Russia and Italy to promote both Orca and Jazz-iz Christ. The alt-rock fun gets going on September 19, when Tankian will play a gig in Kiev at Ukraina Hall, which will also mark his only show in the Ukraine. Russia will fare a little better, as the singer plans to perform five concerts in several of its major cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg. Tankian will wrap things up in Italy come October, playing three shows in Florence, Padova and Rome on the 3rd, 4th and 5th, respectively.
