“We are planning a quick and painful death for you this December, Germany. Be there or we will hunt you down!” said Christ Barnes, vocalist of Six Feet Under, after the band announced their Christmas in Hell tour last week. The tour will see the metal-heads performing seven shows in seven nights throughout Germany, with the first show kicking off on December 15 in Bischofswerda at East Club. They’ll also make stops in Aalen, Cham and Berlin, before wrapping things up on the 21st in Essen, GE, at Turock. This is in addition to their upcoming “Autumn Apocalypse” tour that takes place during November, in which they’ll share the stage with Cattle Decapitation and Wretched.

Six Feet Under began in 1993, as a side project of Cannibal Corpse vocalist Chris Barnes, and Obituary guitarist Allen West. After recruiting two more members, they went on to release nine full-length albums, and have been listed by Soundscan as the fourth best-selling death-metal act in the U.S. Their upcoming CD is slated for 2013, with the title yet to be announced.
