Dates behind the Smashing Pumpkins reunion trek–dubbed the Shiny and Oh So Bright tour–have been revealed. Despite what their Instagram post might have teased, the tour will hit way more cities than just NYC, Chicago and LA, with the kickoff show slated for July 12 in Glendale, AZ. Also on the docket are performances at TD Garden in Boston, Madison Square Garden in NYC, and the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It comes to a close on September 7 in Boise, ID.

So what can you expect to hear on the Smashing Pumpkins reunion tour? According to a press release, they will be playing songs exclusively from the first five albums in their catalogue. If that sounds good to you, be sure to get tickets when they go on sale February 23.

The Smashing Pumpkins reunion rumor train continues to chug on, with the band posting a message to their Instagram account today which reads: “Back on the road… NYC X CHI X LA. #SP2018 #Today” It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that the group–sans bassist D’arcy Wretzky–are gearing up for a reunion tour later this year. They’ve also launched a countdown clock on their website ticking down to February 15, which one can assume is leading up to the big announcement. Will there be a new album along with the new tour? Will they really only perform in NYC, Chicago and L.A.? So many questions! Stay tuned for the answers.
