A Snowstorm Coming to Your Town
The second annual Snowstorm Music Tour will hit towns across the nation in 2012 and will feature the music of T-Pain and Gym Class Heroes.
The concept of the tour, which was created last year, gives smaller markets the opportunity to see live music from artists receiving Top 40 airplay at ticket prices that are affordable. The 2010 version of the tour featured Nelly and 3OH!3.
T-Pain, the auto tune specialist, will join Gym Class Heroes, who have seen significant airplay as of late with their hit “Stereo Hearts” featuring Adam Levine of Maroon 5. Other artists on the tour joining the two acts are Grieves and Budo, Cris Cab and an artist to be named at a later time.
The majority of the tour will take place in Midwest towns known for their wintry climate and winter wonderland status. The tour kicks off on February 7 in the hometown of Tony the Tiger, Battle Creek, Michigan. The tour currently is slated for a series of thirteen dates in February and will visit towns such as Green Bay, Wisconsin; Springfield, Illinois; Sioux City, Iowa; Rapid City, South Dakota; Waterloo, Iowa; Fargo, North Dakota; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Missoula, Montana.
