Lately in the music world it seems that every other day somebody is either going on a farewell tour, or getting the band back together for a reunion tour. Well you can now add the Spice Girls to the latter category, as TMZ has reported that a summer tour is in the works.

While details remain scant, all five original members recently met with their former manager Simon Fuller to discuss the upcoming trek. If the rumors are true, then you can expect to see them on a world tour set to kick off later this year. It was also reported that there will not be any new music in conjunction with their return, but that they are working on merchandising opportunities (dear God please be a Spice World 2 movie). Are you as excited about a potential Spice Girls summer tour as we are? Stay tuned to TBA for more info as it becomes available.
