Canadian indie/pop rockers Stars have just announced a 2013 North American tour. The shows will be in support of their latest album, The North, which came out earlier this year and received 76/100 on Metacritic (a music review aggregator). Besides the North American dates, the five-piece band is currently on the road finishing up some European gigs. You can catch them in Denmark and Italy for the next few days, or wait until they tour Australia at the start of March.

If you’re dwelling in the Western world, much like myself, then you’ll be happy to know that Stars will touch down in the U.S. on March 5, with a gig in Burlington, VT, at Higher Ground. They’ll also play shows in Philly, Baltimore and Brooklyn before spending a chunk of time in Canada and the Midwest. The tour wraps up on April 6, with two performances in Vancouver (a matinee and an evening show) at the Commodore. No supporting act has been announced yet.
