At their most popular in the late 1970s, Steely Dan disbanded in 1981 after releasing seven studio albums. They got back together in 1993, soon after earning a Grammy Award for Album of the Year for their first new music in decades, Two Against Nature. They’ve sold over 40 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
