Crosby, Stills & Nash fans have a lot to look forward to this summer: Stephen Stills, 1/3 of the folk rock trio, will be touring solo along the West Coast before rejoining the rest of the group on tour. Stills will start the tour on May 8, making stops in Portland at Aladdin Theater, in Utah at Salt Lake City’s The Depot, before making a host of steps in California: Napa at City Winery, Santa Barbara at the Granada Theatre, and The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano. The tour will conclude with two stops in Vegas at the House of Blues and the final show will be on June 3 at Tucson’s Fox Tucson Theatre.
The show will include two sets: one solo acoustic and one full electric band. Both sets will cover career-spanning favorites and a few new songs. Stills, who started with Crosby, Stills & Nash in the late-1960s, has always maintained a high-profile solo career. His first solo album included special guests such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Ringo Starr and Rita Coolidge. Through the years, fans have come to know and love Stills for his music’s trademark notable combination of rock, gospel, blues and folk. This summer’s upcoming tour is sure to leave fans excited for more.
