Are you ready to get turnt up, America? Well, we sure hope so, because rapper Waka Flocka Flame has progressed even further on his descent into EDM: in addition to a new album about to come out and gigs with Chuckie during Miami Music Week, he’s going on tour with Dim Mak’s very own Steve Aoki. The tour is going to take place this fall, kicking off on October 4 in Chicago and wrapping up on November 23 in Vancouver. Born in Queens (represent) and raised in Atlanta, Waka Flocka grew up with fellow rapper Gucci Mane by his side (Waka‘s mom was Gucci‘s former manager). He’s a longtime supporter of PETA, even appearing nude in an ad that displayed the catchphrase, “Ink, Not Mink.” Steve Aoki is the son of Benihana founder Rocky Aoki. He founded Dim Mak Records (named after his hero, Bruce Lee) in 1996, and remains one of the most influential remixers today.
