A Summer Festival For Maryland Music Fans
Each summer, a summer music festival heats up Columbia, MD, a town that is a stone’s throw from Baltimore and Washington DC in the greater metropolitan area over there in the mid-Atlantic. The Summer Spirit Festival leans toward hip hop and R&B sounds and usually features a fairly eclectic lineup at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia.

Last year the festival featured Erykah Badu, Common, Eric Roberson, Estelle, and Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings over the course of one day’s events.
