Tame Impala has managed to carve out a successful niche for themselves. Any heady indie kids looking to move beyond their parents psych LPs and head out toward some trippy tunes made closer to today have Kevin Parker’s whole discography to dive into. And it goes without saying that the blown-out, expansive guitar tunes work incredibly well in the great outdoors, under the sun with a few thousand close friends.

In short, Tame Impala are a go-to festival act and for good reason. They have already shared that they are playing both weekends of Coachella, Atlanta’s Shaky Knees and Boston’s Boston Calling. Just in case you can’t make it to the coasts or A-town, though, Parker filled in the gaps with a few standalone dates. Impala will keep it summer-y playing a series of amphitheaters in Saint Augustine and Nashville in between their festival sets. Look for the band in Miami at The Fillmore before they head down to Mexico. The band plays Boston before jetting off for a series of festivals in Europe.

While summer music fests seem like a genuinely American phenomenon, Europeans love to sway in the sun as much as the rest of us.
