Target Center Concerts

Target Center, home of the Minnesota Timberwolves of the NBA and located in downtown Minneapolis, opened in 1990 and has competed with the Xcel Energy Center over in St. Paul for big concert tours coming to the Twin Cities area each year.

Some big notable concerts that have taken place at Target Center include the following: Neil Young & Crazy Horse in 1996; Pearl Jam in 1998; U2 in 2001 and 2005; Rage Against the Machine in 2008; Britney Spears in 2009; Taylor Swift in 2009; Metallica in 2009; Maroon 5 in 2010 and Justin Bieber in 2012.

This spring and summer, concerts coming to Minneapolis at the Target Center include: The Kings of the Mic Tour with LL Cool J, De La Soul and Public Enemy on May 30; Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers on June 29; One Direction on July 18; New Kids On The Block on July 20 and Victoria Justice on August 10.
