Canadian sisters Tegan and Sara Quin have had quite the music career thus far. It’s been filled with festivals, several albums, long tours, and great music. Just last year, they released their seventh studio album entitled Heartthrob, and that wasn’t the last we heard from them. They have announced a summer tour that will extend all the way into October, with plenty of dates at venues around the country so that it will be hard to miss one near you. Perhaps their tour is a celebration of the thirteen years of their music career and a tribute to their hard work and success. Either way, the tour will feature different artists at various venues, including Paramore, Lucius, The Courtneys, My Midnight Heart, and Katy Perry.
The two sisters will begin their tour at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo, BC, on March 3. They’ll make an appearance at the Big Guava Music Festival – one of the many festivals you can catch them at this year–starting on March 2 in Tampa, FL. Join them for one of two events in Chicago, IL, at the Vic Theatre on June 17 and 18. Festivalgoers can see the band starting on July 4 at Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, WA, before they take a monthlong break from touring in August. Don’t worry – you’ll still be able to catch Tegan and Sara at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, on September 19, as well as the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, on October 2. The tour will wrap up at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, on October 10.
