International ensemble The Boxer Rebellion have a new album in the works and tour dates on the way, to the delight of their fans (literally) the world over. The diverse group comprised of an American (Nathan Nicholson, vocals/guitar), an Aussie (Todd Howe, lead guitar) and two Englishmen (bassist Adam Harrison and drummer Piers Hewitt) have so far scheduled only North American performances this May-June, although with one London gig coming up in October, more global dates may be on the horizon.
The band’s latest tour will be in support of their new album, Promises, the followup to 2011’s The Cold Still. The group formerly known as Slippermen (we prefer the switch to historical allusion) will drop their newest record on May 14, and will begin accepting pre-orders for the release as of this Tuesday, April 2. You won’t have to wait through the weekend to grab seats to their upcoming tour, though, as tickets are officially on sale now! That means we’ve got a slew of discount links available, and will continue to offer up deals from now through the end of The Boxer Rebellion’s latest round of shows.
