The Casualties Tour

New York City street punks The Casualties have announced spring tour dates. Joining them on the road will be fellow non-conformists Havok and Goatwhore. (Goatwhore will also be playing shows with 3 Inches of Blood throughout the spring/summer.) The tour kicks off on March 27 with a stop in Houston, TX, at Fitzgerald’s, and wraps up on April 9, with a gig at Seattle’s Studio Seven. Sadly, fans living on the East Coast and in the Midwest will miss out on the fun this time around, as the bands’ trek will only take them through the West Coast and South.

Since 1990, The Casualties have been aiming to bring back what they refer to as the “Golden Era” of street punk to music. Influenced by bands like The Exploited and Charged GBH, their recordings are high-energy, take-no-prisoners rock n’ roll. Their upcoming tour will be in support of their latest album, 2012’s Resistance, which is a 16-song LP that clocks in at around 36 minutes. Now that’s punk rock. Check below to listen to a full stream of the CD, and be sure to pick up a pair of tickets for the upcoming tour.
