The Dear Hunter Announce Spring Tour Dates, New Album
The Dear Hunter Tour
The Dear Hunter, an indie-rock band from Providence, RI, have announced tour dates for this spring. The band began as a side project of Casey Crescenzo, formerly of The Receiving End of Sirens, although the new sound veers on the more progressive side. The tour kicks off on March 12, with a gig in Scottsdale, AZ, at Martini Ranch, followed by shows in Texas, Massachusetts and Ohio. On April 9, the four-piece band will perform at Exit/In in Nashville, TN, before they head to the Midwest for shows in Chicago, IL, and Minneapolis, MN. The jaunt comes to a close on April 27, in Pomona, CA, at The Glass House. Naive Thieves will be acting as support for the duration of the tour.

You can witness the indie/experimental sounds of The Dear Hunter by checking out their upcoming album, Migrant, which will be released on April 2 via Crescenzo’s own label. The musician has said this album is a departure from the band’s previous releases, and it was recorded after they played Coachella last year. The band will also release a one-night-only performance of their EP collection, The Color Spectrum, on DVD March 12.
