The Devil Makes Three Tacks on Winter Tour Dates
Americana trio The Devil Makes Three are all set to play a two-night stand at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT, and they’re really making a tour of it. After Higher Ground, The Devil Makes Three will head to Portland, ME; Asbury Park, NJ; New York, NY (at Irving Plaza); Silver Spring, MD; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Toronto, ON; Madison, WI; St. Louis, MO; Manhattan, KS; Denver, CO; Flagstaff, AZ; San Diego, CA; Chico, CA; and Vancouver, BC; finishing up on February 7 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA. If you can stand to wait until April, The Devil Makes Three is also playing a set at the StageCoach Country Music Festival in Indio, CA. Formed and still based in Santa Cruz, CA, The Devil Makes Three is known for their unique musical sound. It’s a blend of bluegrass, old-time music, country, blues, jazz, ragtime, and rockabilly. The band is currently made up of guitarist Pete Bernhard, upright bassist Lucia Turino, and guitarist and tenor banjoist Cooper McBean.
