The Dodos Tour

The Dodos, the indie rock duo of Meric Long and Logan Kroeber, have announced a full North American tour this fall to coincide with their forthcoming album, Carrier, due out on August 27. The band, which formed back in 2005, has announced support on this tour from a myriad of bands, including Bleeding Rainbow, COUSINS, The Love Language and Dustin Wong. They’ll play mostly smaller venues, ensuring that the demand for tickets will be high.

The Dodos’ latest album is a follow up to their 2011 album, No Color. The album is influenced by the sudden passing of the band’s guitarist, Christopher Reimer. The band will have a few big opportunities to showcase their new tracks, playing at events like Pop Montreal and MusicfestNW with bands like Local Natives, The Dream, and Shuggie Otis. Their tour will conclude with a (semi) homecoming show at El Rey Theater in Los Angeles in mid-October. Take a listen below to their last single, “Black Night.”
