I know I’m a little late on this but rapper Game is currently on his 24 city The RED Album Tour which kicked off on October 20th. For those that are 2 years behind, he did officially drop “The” from his rap name. And yes, besides teaching the world how to eat chicken wings he does occasionally rap on the side.

The Game: Hate It Or Love It

In 2005, The Game burst onto the scene with his G-Unit crew and The Documentary album that eventually went double platinum. I’m sure you all remember songs like “Hate It Or Love It” and “Higher”. But have you really heard of him since then? What if I were to tell you that his next two albums debuted at #1 and #2 on the US Billboard 200 Chart? I’m not kidding. Haters are always gonna hate but Game really did put in a lot of work to establish himself as a West Coast heavyweight. Besides his off the mic antics, he continues to make quality music and The R.E.D. Album is no different. It officially dropped on August 23, 2011 after two long years of delays and of course it debuted at #1. FYI, this is Game’s penultimate contractual album with Interscope Records.

He’s always been very outspoken about reviving the West Coast hip-hop so why not check him out live and see what the movement is all about?

I noticed that there isn’t a single East Coast city listed on the tour. This makes perfect sense in terms of $$$ since the most of his fans are on the West. But I just can’t get over the fact that there are THREE tour dates in Colorado and not a single one in NYC or Philly…

Well, there you have it. Get your tickets cuz’ it’s Game time! (Sorry, just had to say it).
