The Head and the Heart Tour

Indie folk band The Head and The Heart will be touching hearts across the US later this year with the vocal harmonies and melodies fans have come to love. The band, formed in Seattle in 2009, is going on tour in support of their second album Let’s Be Still to be released in mid-October. Travel and a profound relationship to music are intrinsic to the band’s second album and listening experience. In just a few short years, The Head and The Heart has managed to captivate a large expanse of listeners and fans, while opening for a long list of artists including Dave Matthews, Death Cab for Cutie and The Decemberists. It can be expected that their upcoming show will deliver the same magnitude of greatness as their fans have come to expect.

Spanning the course of October and mid-November, their tour will take The Head and The Heart all across America (with a stop in Toronto!). Their Midwest fans can catch them at shows in St. Louis at The Pageant, Chicago at the Riviera Theatre and two shows in Minneapolis at First Avenue. The group is scheduled to have a number of shows in New England and Mid-Atlantic regions. Boston fans will also have two chances to see the group at Royale on 11/1 and 11/2. New Yorkers will get back-to-back shows at both Terminal 5 and Webster Hall. Southeast and Southwest gigs will round out the tour with final stops in Houston, Dallas and Austin.
