The Masked Singer is a massive television success, with millions of viewers tuning in to each episode to see who is behind the monstrous costumes. Given that, it’s not shocking that the show is hoping to recreate that on the road. Similar to the way that American Idol would regularly become a roadshow in between seasons, The Masked Singer just announced a traveling show with performers from the series and one local celebrity to be unveiled at each location.

“Your favorite characters from the hit Fox TV show brought to life live on stage, as well as surprise celebrity hosts and amazing new performances,” the tour’s website claims. “There will be two celebrity hosts that appeared as Masked Singers in the hit TV show. These hosts will be announced at a later date. None of the TV show panelists or other performers are currently scheduled to be present.”

The tour begins at Detroit’s Fox Theatre on May 28 and runs into August. The show runs through the Midwest for several weeks before launching an East Coast leg from Baltimore’s France-Merrick Performing Arts Center. A Southern trek takes up the back half of June with shows at the Ryman Auditorium and Atlanta’s Fox Theatre. The tour closes with an extended West Coast run, closing at the Orpheum in Los Angeles on August 1.
