Wrapping up his final solo tour dates this month, Michael Nesmith plans to join his bandmates of yesteryear and hit the road as The Monkees, yes, THE Monkees. Forget all those 90s tours, this is the summer of the ’60s, with Paul McCartney in the thick of his Out There tour, The Rolling Stones still rocking their 50 & Counting Tour, and The Monkees ready to kick off their “A Midsummer’s Night With The Monkees” U.S. tour.

After a late 2012 reunion celebrating the life of late bandmate Davy Jones, audience demand was so high that The Monkees decided to hit the road again for a full 24 show tour in 2013. With hits like “I’m a Believer,” “(I’m Not Your) Steppin’ Stone,” and a whole catalogue of classics spanning their 41 year career, this summer is a great time to get your nostalgia on and experience an iconic American band. The 60’s heart throbs start things off at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York and features stops in major cities and outdoor venues across the U.S. through the end of August where they’ll wrap things up at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon. Tickets are set to go on sale May 3, so check out the dates below.
