Toronto-based electronic trio The New Deal is back—now aligned with new drummer Joel Stouffer, the band has just announced plans for a winter tour in 2015. They’ll start the new year off with a show at the El Rey Theatre on January 15 in Los Angeles, CA. From L.A., the group will travel north to San Francisco to play two shows (on January 16 and 17) at The Independent. The New Deal will end their mini-tour with shows in Aspen, CO; Boulder, CO; and Denver, CO, the latter of which will be performed at The Ogden Theatre. Escort will provide DJ sets in Boulder and Denver. Don’t see your city on the list? Don’t fret—more dates, as well as ticketing information, will be announced soon. Check out The New Deal’s website for more details.

Formed in 1998 in Toronto, ON, The New Deal’s original lineup consisted of drummer Darren Shearer, bass guitarist Dan Kurtz, and keyboardist Jamie Shields. The band got together after a jam session at the Comfort Zone, and they released their debut album, This Is Live, soon after. They broke up in 2011, only to get back together this year.
