The Palace of Auburn Hills Concerts
The Palace of Auburn Hills, home of the Detroit Pistons and located in the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills, was opened back in 1988 and has been the site for a number of concerts from some of the biggest names in music history.
The very first concert at the venue was on August 13, 1998, with a concert by The Police. In 1988 as well, Michael Jackson performed 3 sold out shows at the venue becoming the first artist to sell out more than 2 nights at the venue during his Bad World Tour. Other select bands and artists that have played there include Jimmy Page & Robert Plant, Madonna, Britney Spears, Green Day, Dave Matthews Band, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Neil Diamond, Elton John and Aerosmith.
This spring and summer, The Palace of Auburn Hills will have a busy concert calendar with the following coming to town: Bob Seger on April 11 and April 13; Pitbull and Kesha on June 7; New Kids On The Block on June 8; Bruno Mars on July 11; One Direction on July 12; Beyonce on July 20 and Fall Out Boy on September 14.
